The Chandler Law Offices began when Stephen M. Chandler graduated from Stanford Law School in 1955 and became the city attorney for San Leandro. He joined the firm Minder, Bruner & Chandler shortly thereafter. Together with his partners, Stephen represented some of the largest real estate developers, manufacturers and businesspeople in California throughout the 1970s and 80s.
Stephen M. Chandler’s son, Stephen G. Chandler, began working at the firm in 1984 after graduating from UC Berkeley and McGeorge School of Law. Stephen quickly became a partner at the firm and worked alongside his father until 1995 when he opened his own firm.
Stephen G. Chandler’s son, Zachary, began working with his father in high school and now has over a decade of experience in the legal field. Zachary is a graduate of Cal State East Bay and is currently studying to take the California Bar Exam.
